Marella Discovery

Marella Discovery is one of their biggest ships, with highlights like an outdoor cinema, a rock climbing wall, a mini-golf course, five-storey atrium and an indoor pool. You can expect all the Marella Cruises trademarks, like a fantastic dining scene, a show lounge to rival the West End, and smart, contemporary interiors. And the best bit - on Marella Discovery, everyone goes All Inclusive. This means your drinks, including prosecco and cider, plus meals in five restaurants and most onboard activities will all be part of the deal.

Unique Features

Marella Cruises don’t think tips and service charges should cost you extra, so they've included them in the price. You’re not expected to tip any of their crew – unless you want to, of course.

Balcony, cabins & designated areas
Not available

All cabins come with Air Conditioning, TV, Two full-length wardrobes, Hairdryer and a Safe (at a charge).

There’ll be seven dining spots to choose from, including a main restaurant spread over two storeys, and three à la cartes – two of these will showcase spectacular views from a setting on the top floor. You can dine with a difference at the Chef’s Table, too, with a hosting chef cooking right in front of you. For afternoon tea and after-dinner cocktails, meanwhile, you’ll have eight bars and lounges to dip in and out of.

You can watch movies under a star-lit sky at the ship’s outdoor cinema. Indoors, there are nightly shows in Marella biggest ever Broadway Show Lounge, and pianists and acoustic musicians take to the stage in the atrium – an elegant space that changes colour when the sun goes down. The plush casino, meanwhile, is the place to head for a late-night flutter.

Health and fitness

Spend the day taking it easy: relax by the swimming pool with a drink in your hand, head to the spa for a massage or spend some time in the saunas.

Kids and Teens

Marella Cruises have worked on every last detail when it comes to getting the kids onboard. That means family-sized and inter-connecting cabins, buffet lunches featuring favourites like pizza and spaghetti bolognese, and a great mix of activities.

They lay on table tennis and football tournaments, fun quizzes, and early evening shows during their sea days. And when the ship is in port, children up to the age of 12 get discounted rates on some of their exciting shore excursions.

Every ship has a free Kids’ Club, too. So mum and dad can have time together while the little ones fill their days with treasure hunts, face-painting, and stories.

Please note: the ship does not feature any dedicated enrichment facilities.
