The MPS Rotterdam is Shearings' flagship vessel and has become a firm favourite over the years that it has been exclusively chartered. This luxurious four deck ship is a ship for all seasons, offering relaxing European river cruises throughout spring, summer, autumn and winter, including Christmas and New Year.

This Premium Ship sails on several waterways across Europe, including the Rhine, the Moselle and the waterways of Holland and Belgium.

Wherever you choose to venture, you'll feel right at home on board the inviting MPS Rotterdam. Your Shearings tour manager will keep you entertained with on board activities in the daytime, and in the evenings you can get up and dance (or sit back and relax) to the sounds of the ship's resident musician. All cabins are fitted with private bathroom facilities, including a shower and toilet. Most cabins have a dressing table.

Grade A

Each day on the MPS Rotterdam starts with the delights of the breakfast buffet, offering a wide choice of English and Continental breakfast treats.

At lunchtime, you’ll enjoy a table-served starter before helping yourself to the buffet, with a choice of hot dishes, cold meats, cheeses, salads and fresh fruits.

Your four-course evening meal will be full table service, giving you the chance to sample the traditional cuisine or specialities of the places you’re visiting. And the impressive six-course Captain’s dinner is not to be missed.

The stylish main lounge area is spacious, decorated in rich, warm colours, with a dance floor offering panoramic views from which you can watch the world float by. It’s also a great place to get to know your fellow travellers.

Sun Deck

The large Sun Deck has plenty of room for everybody. Soak up the sun from one of the loungers, or relax in the spacious sheltered area if you’d rather stay in the shade. You’ll also find an exercise bicycle to help you keep in shape while on board.

Shearings are not a specialist disabled holiday company, but they will do their utmost to cater for any special requirements you may have. If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect your stay, please provide them with full details before they confirm their booking so that they can try to advise you as to the suitability of your chosen arrangements. They may require you to produce a doctor’s certificate certifying that you are fit to participate in the tour. Acting reasonably, if they are unable to properly accommodate the needs of the person(s) concerned, they will not confirm your booking. If you failed to give they full details at the time of booking, they must reserve the right, as appropriate, to either levy additional charges for urgent use of their special helpdesk service or cancel your booking and impose applicable cancellation charges from the point at which we were made aware of these details.
