But that doesn’t mean Shearings don’t pay attention to their cabins – by staying in any of the 63 outward facing cabins in the Main and Promenade Decks, you’ll be treated to your own little glimpse of life on the river.

They just want to make sure you have an outstanding cruise adventure.

The Esmeralda’s inviting restaurant offers a variety of table settings, so whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple or in a large group, you’ll be catered for. The stunning views from the restaurant provide the perfect backdrop from which to enjoy your meals.

In the morning, you’ll be treated to a hot and cold buffet breakfast whilst you admire the Danube’s tranquil waters, morning coffee and a three-course lunch as your ship meanders through winding valleys. And end the day looking out over inspiring mountain scenery with a four-course evening meal, with a choice of menu. Don’t forget the impressive Captain’s dinner.

Shearings are not a specialist disabled holiday company, but they will do their utmost to cater for any special requirements you may have. If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect your stay, please provide them with full details before they confirm their booking so that they can try to advise you as to the suitability of your chosen arrangements. They may require you to produce a doctor’s certificate certifying that you are fit to participate in the tour. Acting reasonably, if they are unable to properly accommodate the needs of the person(s) concerned, they will not confirm your booking. If you failed to give they full details at the time of booking, they must reserve the right, as appropriate, to either levy additional charges for urgent use of their special helpdesk service or cancel your booking and impose applicable cancellation charges from the point at which we were made aware of these details.
