The automatic service gratuity of $18.00 USD per person, per day for guests in non-suites staterooms and Junior Suite, or $20.50 USD per person, per day for guests in Suites, will be applied to each guest’s SeaPass account on a daily basis. The gratuity applies to individual guests of all ages and stateroom categories. As a way to reward our crew members for their outstanding service, gratuities are shared among dining, bar & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants and other hotel services teams who work behind the scenes to enhance the cruise experience.
In the unlikely event that a guest onboard being charged the daily automatic gratuity does not receive satisfactory service, the guest may request to modify the daily amount at their discretion by visiting Guest Services onboard and will be able to do so until the morning of their departure. Guests who have pre-paid their gratuity will not see a daily charge during their cruise.
The automatic daily gratuity is based on customary industry standards. Applying this charge automatically helps streamline the recognition process for the crew members who work to enhance your cruise. We hope you find the gratuity to be an accurate reflection of your satisfaction and thank you for your generous recognition of our staff.
A 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverages and mini bar items.
A 20% gratuity is automatically added to all spa & salon purchases.
Guests can pre-pay gratuities by calling (UK) 0344 493 4005 / (Ireland) 1800 555 604 or logging into www.royalcaribbean.co.uk before* their sailing. For guests booked through travel advisors, their advisor may add pre-paid gratuities to the guests' booking prior to sailing*. If gratuities are not prepaid prior to sailing, they will be automatically added to the guests’ folios once onboard.
Guests who choose ‘My Time Dining’ on all European sailings will have gratuities automatically added to their bill, as they may be served by different members of the team each night. This means tips for your waiting staff – as well as other dining and housekeeping staff – will be included in the quoted price for ‘My Time Dining’ on your cruise holiday
Guests who choose our open dining option may opt-in to pre-paid gratuities for dining, or add them to their account at check-out.
*Pre-paid gratuities can be added to an individual reservation at any time outside of 48 hours of the sail date.

MENU HIGHLIGHTS
Many of the dishes on the Main Dining Room’s menu rotate each night, which means you could go an entire week without ever repeating a course. Every meal here begins with something delicious from the starters section of the menu — like savoury duck terrine layered with apricot chutney on toasted sourdough bread, a flaky Vidalia onion tart baked with whipped eggs, cream, and smoked bacon, or spiced eggplant and Kalamata olive tartare prepared with red pepper hummus and served on crispy garlic bread. Then, choose from international entrees like Moroccan spiced ahi tuna served over mint couscous, sautéed spinach and tequila peppers with a cool yogurt vinaigrette. Or mojo-marinated bone-in pork loin paired with sweet potatoes, broccoli and a cumin-citrus reduction. Dessert is also worth getting excited about, with options like sweet cream-soaked tres leches, home-style carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and a light and fluffy Grand Marnier soufflé.

This casual, complimentary hotspot bustles 24 hours a day, so you can drop by any time — whether it’s for a steaming cup of coffee and a warm glazed cinnamon bun in the morning, or late-night bites like fried artichoke, spicy marinated cheese, and savoury meatballs from behind the counter after working up an appetite on the dance floor.

MENU HIGHLIGHTS
If you’re looking for a satisfying way to start your day, pair a cup of rich Royal Roast with a flaky croissandwich — stuffed with deli meats and crisp lettuce — or your favourite breakfast pastry. At lunchtime, it’s all about the flavourful chicken roti wrap and the New Orleans-style muffuletta, piled high with cold cuts and cheese. If you love a good antipasti platter, try the prosciutto with melon combo, or the pesto-grilled tomato. And if you have a sweet tooth, the decadent Mudcakes, creamy Willy Wonka pies, and fluffy round Led Zeppoles will make you come back for seconds.
PRO TIP
Some sandwiches, antipasti and desserts rotate daily, so stop by often to see what’s new.

HOW TO PURCHASE
Cruise Planner or Onboard
MENU HIGHLIGHTS
At Izumi Sushi & Hot Rocks, every meal begins with a complimentary appetiser of edamame served with course kosher salt. Level up your meal with a deep-fried firecracker spring roll, filled with tender shrimp, crabmeat, cream cheese and sambal chilli. If you like spice, try the tuna wasabi carpaccio, sliced thin and paired with the house ponzu olive oil, wasabi aioli, masago smelt eggs, garlic chips and jalapeño. For sushi lovers, the Izumi spider roll is a must — it comes filled with tempura soft shell crab, creamy avocado, masago, and sweet unagi sauce. And of course, you can’t leave without trying something from the ishiyaki hot rock section of the menu. Go all out with the surf and turf experience — you’ll enjoy a half lobster tail, beef tenderloin, and assorted Asian vegetables served sizzling on a hot cooking stone and accompanied by white or fried rice and a selection of delicious homemade dipping sauces.
PRO TIP
Can’t decide what to order from the menu? Look for items with a symbol indicating the chef’s recommendations.
El Loco Fresh®

INSANELY DELICIOUS MEXICAN
Give your taste buds something to go wild over. El Loco Fresh® serves up Mexican fare that's insanely delicious. With classic mole sauce and tangy salsa verde topping beef burritos, carnitas and more – it's a fiesta of flavour from south of the border. The craziest thing about it is just how good it is.
ATTIRE
Casual
MENU HIGHLIGHTS
If you’re stopping by El Loco Fresh® for breakfast, try a filling breakfast burrito or breakfast quesadilla. If you’re craving something a bit more traditional, you’ll also find scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon in the breakfast section of the menu. From noon to 6 p.m., this fast-casual favourite focuses on delicious Mexican staples – like shareable nachos loaded with creamy cheese, savoury tacos and burritos stuffed with your choice of beef, chicken or pork, and south-of-the-border sweets like chocolate dulce de leche, decadent Mexican flan and a fluffy tres leches cake.
PRO TIP
You can grab a table outdoors at El Loco Fresh® or take your food to go.
Chops Grille℠

CLASSIC AMERICAN STEAKHOUSE
For over a decade, the chefs at Chops Grille have proudly presented quality, hand-cut steaks at this hallmark Royal Caribbean restaurant. Now, they give you a fresh twist on a favourite, with a revamped menu that brings contemporary flair to traditional steakhouse offerings. Most intriguing: our exceptional prime meat. This prime beef is joined by Maine lobster, grilled branzino and other succulent dishes paired with addictive side dishes and irresistible desserts.
ATTIRE
Smart Casual
INSIDER TIP
Open for lunch on sea days only.
MENU HIGHLIGHTS
The best way to begin a meal at Chops Grille is with the charred beef carpaccio, sliced thin and served rare with fresh arugula, Parmesan cheese, and truffle mustard dressing. If you’re a seafood lover, upgrade your menu with one of the restaurant’s chilled seafood towers — each comes with jumbo shrimp, green-lipped mussels, clams, Jonah crab claws, and Maine lobster. As far as entrees go, the tender filet is one of the most popular items on the menu. If nine ounces is a bit too much for you, opt for the smaller 6-ounce petite filet — it packs in just as much flavour as the standard cut. If you’re a traditionalist, complement your meal with an order of steaming Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, or change things up with Chops’ signature gruyere cheese tater tots and truffled French fries. And don’t forget to save room for a refreshing slice of tart key lime meringue pie or classic New York cheesecake, served with raspberries and lemon confit.
PRO TIP
The chefs at Chops Grille will hand cut, season, and grill each steak to your specifications. When in doubt, don’t be afraid to ask for the chef’s recommendation.
Hooked Seafood℠

REEL FRESH SEAFOOD
If you want to snag a real taste of New England-style seafood, Hooked Seafood is the spot. Find your favourite coastal flavours, like crispy golden Maryland crab cakes, melt-in-your-mouth Maine Lobster rolls or just-shucked oysters and other raw bar favourites. Don’t miss the sweet treats that beg to be savoured to feel the taste of summer.

At lunchtime, the Messy fish sandwich and New England-style clam and crab chowder are must-tries. If you’re dining during dinner, start with an order of the Drunken mussels, tossed in your choice of a savoury white wine garlic sauce or rich marinara. Then try The Captain’s platter. It comes heaped with a 4-ounce lobster tail, a fresh fish filet and shrimp — all grilled to perfection and served with warm melted butter. There’s no wrong way to do dessert at Hooked Seafood, but we suggest the Coconut cream pie if you’re craving something tropical. If you’re looking for the ultimate indulgence, it doesn’t get better than the Chocolate decadence brownie, served a la mode with a healthy helping of chocolate fudge and salted caramel sauce.
PRO TIP
In the mood for baked oysters? Enjoy them three different ways — Rockefeller style, with leeks and white wine, or with brie and champagne.

Medical Facilities
We have a minimum of one fully licensed doctor, and a minimum of two licensed nurses onboard every ship.
Every Royal Caribbean ship offers limited professional medical services through licensed (international or domestic) physicians and nurses. All Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. ships have shipboard medical facilities that are built, staffed, stocked and equipped to meet or exceed guidelines established by the American College of Emergency Physicians Cruise Ship & Maritime Medicine Section.
Depending on the size of the ship and number of passengers and Crew members, each RCL ship has one to three doctors and three-to-five Nurses, available to passengers and Crew members 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our medical facilities are stocked with a variety of equipment, including cardiac monitors, automated external defibrillators, ventilators, x-ray machines and processors, laboratory equipment, a formulary of acute care medications and a variety of minor surgical and orthopedic supplies. Our doctors also have access to online informational sources and 24-hour support from shore side medical professionals for additional assistance. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. also requires all doctors and nurses to maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training. In responding to medical emergencies, our goal is to first stabilize emergency patients and, where indicated, evacuate the patient to an appropriately equipped and staffed shore side medical facility as soon as practical.

Packing Tips
Personal Items:
We suggest that guests transport all their medications in their carry-on luggage to minimize the potential for diversion or loss of medications and advise that all medications remain in their original, labeled prescription containers. It is also advisable to pack at least three days of extra medication in the event of an unexpected change in the itinerary of the voyage.
Clothing:
When you’re on board, the right look will vary by venue. But here are a few types of suggested attire you’ll see, grouped by occasion. Shoes should be low-heeled for deck activities. Bring a few swimsuits (so you will always have a dry one). Ashore, you’ll need comfortable walking shoes.
If you're cruising to the Caribbean, Mexico or other warm weather destinations, bring a hat for protection from the sun. If your cruise vacation will take you to Alaska, Canada & New England or Northern Europe, be sure to pack a jacket and several sweaters.
Casual: You're on vacation – relax! Jeans, shorts, tees, tank tops, polos, sundresses and blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Please keep swimwear to the Pool Deck.
Smart Casual: Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear. Dress to impress with jackets, sports coats, blazers, collared shirts, dresses, skirts and blouses, or pantsuits.
Formal: Make it a night out in your best black-tie look – suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns.
Last Night of Cruise: Bring an overnight bag for your last night at sea. Staff will collect your luggage the night before disembarkation and you will need an overnight bag to carry your nightclothes and toiletries.
VOOM
VOOM is the name of our high-speed internet service, the fastest internet at sea.
With the installation of VOOM, you are no longer confined to a specific location on the ship to have connectivity. You can now stay connected from the comfort of your own stateroom, while you lounge by the pool and even while having a drink at the bar.
VOOM is 6x faster than any other internet at sea! For the first time you will be able to stream music and movies, upload pictures, video chat with family and friends using FaceTime or Skype, check your email, look your stock prices, surf the web and stay connected with work.
Royal Caribbean is the only cruise line with high speed internet at sea. Whether you have your phone, tablet, or laptop, VOOM allows guests to stay connected. VOOM is available onboard all ships fleetwide. Each one of our VOOM ships gets its signal directly from a satellite beam dedicated to our ships that orbits close to the Earth allowing us to offer fast and reliable service.
The cost of VOOM varies by the number of devices and the service package purchased. We recommend that guests purchase VOOM pre-cruise to enjoy the biggest discount from onboard prices. Simply log in to My Cruises, and go to Cruise Planner.
