About City Cruise Terminal

Designed to accommodate the larger ships visiting the UK, Southampton's City Cruise Terminal is one of its' busiest. For those arriving in Southampton, there is an arrivals lounge with comfortable seating. Open to the public, this offers the opportunity for friends and family coming to meet you to wait inside in relative comfort.

The terminal is easily accessible by car or public transport. If you're driving head towards the Western Docks, following the A33, West Quay Road. Look for signage to Dock Gate 10; the City terminal is just through there. By train, the closest station is Southampton Central. Regular local and national services run there, with links to Southampton Airport Parkway running frequently. It’s just under 1 mile to walk from the station to the terminal. We suggest catching a taxi. There are dedicated ranks either side of the station, with journeys costing around about £5 - £7.

A short stay Pay & Display car park can be found opposite the main building, with disabled bays right next to the drop-off point.

A fully licensed bar serving hot and cold food and drink, is located inside the terminal, as well as a cafe serving snacks and refreshments.
