About this Event

Following the success of Jacqui's last willow workshop with us, join Tudor House’s artist in residence, willow sculptor Jaqueline Rolls, to create your these stunning bird feeders from willow. Enjoy this relaxing and traditional art overlooking the Tudor House Garden, while you are guided through the process of working with willow to make two different woven bird feeders; a willow cone and a willow spiral.

This workshop runs 10:30am – 3pm including a short lunch break. Feel free to either bring something with you or order from the café before the workshop.

This course is suitable for all levels of ability including absolute beginners and all materials will be provided.

Please be aware that working with willow can be quite strenuous and may not be suitable if you suffer from arthritus or similar conditions, or in fact have very long nails. If you have any questions at all about this or any other aspect of the course please do email us at museums@southampton.gov.uk
