About this Event

Two days of investigation, imagination and discovery for children aged 6 to 12yrs who love being creative and learning through fun activities. Led by the experienced cultural services learning team, at Kids’ Club children will explore the past, experience the museum and gallery and make really cool things inspired by the City’s arts and heritage collections.

Mon 11th – Ostrich sized Easter!

We will be spending the day working on our very own real ostrich egg! We are going to decorate them, make display stands for them, probably talk to them and even make them some pet pickled chickens for them! Disclaimer… these are pre-blown eggs, no risk of actual ostrich hatching!

Tues 12th – Terrific Titanic!

All aboard! Join us for a day of creativity and fun as we explore the fascinating story of Titanic; the Ship of Dreams. Make your own lucky talisman, design a luxury cruise ship, we’ll even see if we can fit her into a bottle – can it be done?? Become crafty historians for the day and investigate the legendary story!

These workshops are based at SeaCity and the City Art Gallery. We will move between venues. Please drop off and pick up from the SeaCity main entrance and provide snacks, lunch and a drink. A registration form must be completed prior to arrival. PLEASE EMAIL ASAP after booking to arrange for a form to be sent to you.

We want to make your visit as enjoyable and safe as possible at this time. Due to Covid 19 we need to carefully manage the numbers of people we have in our venue and so anyone entering the workshop will need to have a ticket.
