About this Event
Online talk with historian Dr Cheryl Butler. Southampton had more guns than any other town in England! Every man between 16 and 60 had to regularly practise archery and attend musters. Ordinary people toiled away building the defensive walls, and when the French were at the gate, be prepared to defend the realm. This talk explores this incredible story.
